The Opportunity- HR Coordinator, Sarajevo or Belgrade based

HR Coordinator will be responsible for HR compliance with SCI policies, guidelines, etc. as well as local legal requirements in BIH and in Serbia. HR  Coordinator’s main task will be to lead and support the CO restructuring process, including but not limited to executing the CO transition plan for a new structure, revision of the OrgChart, JDs, regrading of the JDs; salary scale review; support RACI development, execution of HR improvement plan and wellbeing plan.

He/She will be responsible for the execution of HR policies, including regular revisions, and coordinate and give support in addressing legal-related issues to ensure CO is operating in line with country-specific regulations and SCI policies. He/she will be also responsible for the learning & development component that will be mainly linked with partners’ capacity development and the Learning/Development (L&D) component for internal SCI staff (including training, talent development, and performance management). 

In order to be successful, you will bring/have: 

•    3-5 years of experience in Human Resources preferably in dynamic context and in International Non – governmental sector 
•    Previous experience with large scale up/scale down, leading and managing transformational processes in HR capacity
•    Strong knowledge on HR systems and policies/procedures 
•    Staff relations and people management experience
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources
•    Articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences
•    Organized, a self-starter and an inspirational leader of your team
•    Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and switch between priorities as required
•    Ability to work with limited supervision and strong ability to take initiative.
•    Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with people at all levels and prepare own correspondence
•    Experience of designing and delivering a variety of trainings
•    Strong knowledge about Microsoft applications (MS word, excel and PowerPoint)
•    Proficiency in English is expected
•    Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
